Work Horse Tack was established in October of 2013, sprouting from humble beginnings as a tiny mobile tack store, we have flourished over the years with the help of our amazing clientele.

We are best known for our flagship product, the Saddle Caddy, which we exclusively manufacture and retail in the South African market. 

The store has a key ethic structure of providing clients with sound advice, no matter the subject, from feeding, correct tack and fitment and everything in-between. “We don’t sell you things you don’t need.”  

April 2025 saw us close our physical retail store in Henley-on-Klip to transition to trading solely online for your convenience.

We hope to continue going from strength to strength and expanding our ever growing ranges, and we thank our loyal customers for making it all possible, we can’t wait to see you shopping with us!
