Returns

While we always aim for you to be completely satisfied with your purchase, we understand that sometimes returns are necessary. Please review our returns policy below before placing your order.

Second-Hand Items

(Pre-Loved) 

All second hand sales are final and sold as is. There are no guarantees, returns, refunds or exchanges on these items. By purchasing second hand you acknowledge that the item is used and may have faults from wear and tear.

While we take great care to describe and photograph these items accurately, some wear or minor faults may be overlooked. 

Your welcome to make reasonable offers on second hand items that we will relay to its owner and get back to you. 

New Items

If you are not completely satisfied with a new item, you may return it within 7 days of receiving your order, provided it is:

  • Unused and in original condition.
  • In its original packaging with all labels/tags attached.

A refund (excluding shipping costs and handling fee) or a store credit will be issued once the item is received and inspected.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If you receive an item that is damaged, faulty, or incorrect, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs and details.

We will arrange either a replacement, repair, or refund depending on the situation.

Sale & Discounted Items

Only full-priced items are eligible for a refund. Unfortunately, all discounted, clearance, or sale items are considered final sales and cannot be returned, exchanged, or credited.

During promotional periods, it is the customer’s responsibility to apply any discount codes or vouchers at checkout. Please note that Work Horse Tack cannot retroactively apply discounts or issue refunds where codes or vouchers were not used correctly at the time of purchase.

Refunds

All refunds are subject to a transaction handling fee, which will be deducted from the refund amount. We encourage customers to keep this in mind when placing or cancelling orders.

Refunds are processed via EFT and may take up to 7 working days to reflect, depending on your bank. To ensure a smooth process, please provide us with your banking details when requested.

Exclusions

Returns and/or exchanges are not accepted on the following:

  • All second-hand items (pre-loved)
  • Custom or made-to-order products, this includes any special orders
  • Items not in resalable condition (dirty, used, tagless, or damaged after delivery).
  • Perishable products such as, but not limited to: treats, pet foods, supplements, vet care products and feeds.  
  • All sale/ discounted items

Return Process

  1. Contact us via whatsapp or email with your email, phone number, order number and reason for return.

  2. Our team will provide return instructions and a return reference.

  3. Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect and previously agreed upon. 

  4. Once your return is received and inspected, we will process your refund, exchange or store credit within 7–10 working days.

We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Please take care when packaging the return and consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. Returns will only be processes if they reach us in resalable condition.

We want every shopping experience with Work Horse Tack to be positive. While our policies protect both buyers and sellers, we are always committed to handling every return request fairly and promptly.

Product colours and styles are subject to availability. While we strive to accurately represent and supply all advertised options, certain colours or styles may occasionally be out of stock. In such cases, an alternative option of similar value and quality will be offered.
